About Vidmatic

Record your screen, circle it, say it. Claude Code reads it over MCP, files the GitHub issue, builds it, and sends back a narrated demo.

Vidmatic is video-to-agent: screen recording for AI coding agents, with proof. A bug or a feature idea is often easier to show than to write down. You record your screen and talk, and Vidmatic turns that recording into something your coding agent can read: a timed transcript, the marks you drew on screen, and close-up images of what you circled. Your agent reads it over the Vidmatic MCP server, turns it into work, and answers with a narrated demo of what shipped.

Who it is for

Vidmatic is for developers who work with a coding agent such as Claude Code, for product managers who find a problem and want it fixed without writing a long ticket, and for teams who want to see each change working before they trust it. The person who records does not need to know the code. The agent does that part. You can record in the browser or with the Vidmatic Chrome extension.

How it works

  1. Record your screen and say what is wrong or what you want.
  2. Circle or mark the part of the screen you mean, at the moment you mean it.
  3. Your coding agent reads the recording over MCP, with your own code open.
  4. It plans the change, builds it, reviews it and ships it.
  5. It sends back a narrated demo video of the result, so you can watch it work.

Each demo lands in your Vidmatic Inbox, next to the recording that asked for it. While the agent works, the Agent Workstreams board shows each stage, from plan to ship, so you can see where the work is without asking anyone.

Read how we handle your recordings and data on the security page. Larger teams can read about Vidmatic for enterprise.

Founder

Darek Markiewicz founded Vidmatic and builds it. He designed the recorder, the MCP server and the agent workflow that turns a screen recording into a shipped change with a narrated demo. He writes the Vidmatic blog. Vidmatic is built with Vidmatic: many of its own changes start as a screen recording.
