Generate a demo video with Claude Code: record, narrate and share it
Full video transcript
This is how Claude Code makes a demo video of the feature it just built, with Vidmatic. The feature is done, but showing it is a second job. You record the screen, write a voice-over, cut it, upload it, then hunt for the link. Connect Claude Code once. One command adds the Vidmatic server. Then open the MCP menu, choose authenticate, and sign in from your browser. There is no key to paste. When you ship, run the record command and name the feature. Run it bare and it will not guess: it lists what it could demo from your recent commits, and asks. The agent writes the narration before it records anything. Preflight narration checks each line against its time slot, so the voice never runs past the screen. Then Playwright drives your running app through the real journey in a headless browser. No mock screens, and nothing is encoded on your machine. The video uploads, and Vidmatic renders the voice-over from the script and hosts it. You choose the voice, and the timing comes from what was really on screen. The demo lands in your Inbox. It is public unless you changed your default, so you get a link for Slack, a pull request or a release note. The same connection records other demos too: the shortest path to a new user's first win, a bug before and after its fix, or how a change was built.
