Screen recording for product managers: walk through the change, watch it ship
Full video transcript
Here is screen recording for product managers: you walk through a change, and it reaches the team as an issue. Written tickets are where product intent gets lost. Engineers get ambiguity, and you get asked what you meant, in standup, again. So open the screen you want changed and talk through it, the way you would in a meeting: what is there now, what should change, and why. With the Chrome extension, circle a button, cross out a banner, or write the new copy by hand. Each mark is saved with the sentence you were saying. Then it becomes an issue in one of three ways: GitHub auto-create when you stop, the change request queue when asks span repos, or one prompt for a coding agent. Read by a coding agent, each ask becomes a numbered row: the moment you said it, the mark you drew, your own words, and the files it found. Then watch it move on Agent Workstreams. Each issue is a card with a box per stage, such as plan, build, review and ship. When the issue ships, the card shows the pull request and the demo video. A card marked stalled has had no report from its agent for an hour. You hand off intent with the video, not just words, there are fewer questions to answer, and you can watch the work ship stage by stage.
