Create a ticket from a video: record it, queue it, a watcher files the GitHub issue
Full video transcript
Here is how a screen recording becomes a ticket someone else can pick up, with Vidmatic. You just showed the change on screen, and now you have to type it into a blank ticket. Translating it is slow, and the detail gets lost on the way. So record instead. Show the work, the request or the change you want, and talk through it. You do not need to know which repo it belongs to. Then add it to the change request queue: right after you record, from the recording's agent tab, from its menu in your library, or from the Chrome extension. Not every ask needs a video. Choose new change request, write what should change, and keep let Vidmatic suggest, so the watcher picks the repo. The watcher is a Claude Code session with Vidmatic connected. Run this one line in the folder that holds your checkouts, and every ten minutes it checks the queue. For each request it reads the recording, works out the repo, and has a helper agent file a GitHub issue by that repo's own rules, each on its own board. Follow each one under change requests. It goes from queued, to being filed, to filed, with links to the issue and its board. Needs you means pick the repo. A two minute walkthrough becomes an issue someone else can pick up, with the recording linked. While no watcher runs, requests simply wait, and nothing is lost.
